Valhalla Delay - Valhalla

Probably one of the very best delays out there which is more than just its name suggests.

Echoes of the past, present and future
Valhalla Delay is our take on classic and modern delay and echo units. Tape echo, BBD, old-school digital, pitch shifting – we’ve got you covered. ValhallaDelay offers the classics, and expands them into new dimensions, with the unique Ratio and Quad delay styles, the Ghost mode (which adds frequency shifting), and a powerful diffusion section that can create anything from smeared echoes to ethereal reverbs. Set the controls for the heart of the sun with ValhallaDelay!

Valhalla Delay has ten different delay Modes:
Tape: Modeled after vintage tape echoes, with all the features and quirks that were loved in the old hardware.
HiFi: A higher fidelity tape echo, where the ability to precisely sculpt the sound is in your hands. .
BBD: A dark, low fidelity bucket brigade delay model.
Digital: A cleaner, higher bandwidth delay, with the ability to dial in digital dirt.
Ghost: A Valhalla DSP original! Combines the tape model from the HiFi mode with frequency shifting and a unique diffusion algorithm, for sounds that will split your skull in two.
Pitch: A digital delay with added pitch shifting. Perfect for micro-shifting vocals, adding harmonies to synths, creating vast shimmering soundscapes, or shrieking sounds that forever spiral upwards or downwards.
RevPitch: Reverse pitch shifting! Everything that goes in, comes out reversed.
BBDuck (new in 1.5.2): A brighter BBD model, with brightness that tracks the delay time (shorter delays are brighter, while longer delays are darker), and ducking.
Clarity (new in 1.5.2): A clean “digital” delay, with a program dependent limiter, so you can SLAM the drive gain without getting distortion. Deep and wild modulation waveforms, selected by the Era control. Ducking!
DuckTape (new in 1.5.2): A tape delay with built-in companding noise reduction and ducking.

Five tape Styles, for controlling the number of delay voices:
Single: Same delay length & modulation for left and right channels.
Dual: Independent delay lengths for left and right channels.
Ratio: The right channel is set to a ratio of the left channel, and the feedback of left and right channels is mixed. Perfect for sounds that slowly transition from delay to reverb-esque.
PingPong: A delay that bounces between the left and right channels, with the ability to set the left and right delays independently.
Quad: Models the multi-head tape echoes of the 1960s and 1970s, with up to 4 delay taps on tap.

Cool features:
Delay lengths ranging from 0 msec to 20 seconds. Dial in choruses and flangers, slapback echoes, longer delays, or long Frippertronic loops.
Sync the delay to the beat, with straight/dotted/triplet options. Or, control the length via milliseconds.
Age control, for adjusting the artifacts of the delay mode. Clean and shiny, old and dusty, or anywhere in between.
Powerful Diffusion section, that can be used to smooth out the attacks of delays, or can be an amazingly smooth and lush reverb in its own right. Up to 20 seconds of diffusion time possible!
Era control, for selecting between different variants of the delay modes.
Ducking control (in BBDuck/Clarity/DuckTape modes), for having the echo level track the input signal volume.

Soundtoys

If you only have one set of effect plug ins then spundtoys is the way to go. The effect rack can hold multiple devices and you can control them all from one knob. Extremely versatile and going way beyond most with the intuitive tweakability. The Crystallizer and Tremelo  is particularly nice but so are they all really!!

Soundtoys 5 brings together our entire range of audio effects into one powerful collection. Includes all 18 Soundtoys plug-ins.

Saturate, compress and distort with Decapitator, Radiator, and Devil-Loc. Get a virtual history of echo and delay hardware with EchoBoy and PrimalTap. Transform your vocals with Little AlterBoy. Recreate classic studio pitch, chorus and widening effects with Crystallizer and MicroShift. Take modulation to new levels with the beat-synced rhythmic effects of PanMan, Tremolator, FilterFreak, and PhaseMistress.

All of these individual elements are proven, powerful tools, trusted by professional mix engineers, musicians and sound designers everywhere. But combined in the new Soundtoys Effect Rack, they are indeed the ultimate effects collection.

The new Soundtoys Effect Rack is the centerpiece of Soundtoys 5. It turns a tried-and-true collection of powerful individual plug-ins into a virtually unlimited creative multi-effects system.

The Effect Rack makes it simple to build your own custom effect chains and define your signature sound. And when you’ve created the perfect combination of effects, the Rack’s global controls let you treat the whole rack as a single plug-in.

Lock rhythmic effects to a single tempo, or let them run free. Fine tune the input and output levels, and use the global mix control to blend your effect in with the dry signal. Then experiment with the powerful new global Recycle control. By mixing the output of the rack back into the input, you can build your own modulated reverbs, over-the-top delays and other unique ambience effects that would require complicated routing to accomplish in most DAWs.

Work Smarter

The Effect Rack integrates all of the individual Soundtoys effects into a single plug-in, which improves workflow by displaying an entire custom effect processing chain at once. You won’t need to juggle multiple plug-in windows to adjust parameters, add new effects, or change their routing. The Effect Rack keeps everything right at your fingertips.

Choose from our range of carefully-crafted presets to find the perfect jumping-off point. Or quickly design, save and recall combinations of your favorite Soundtoys effects—all in one self-contained plug-in.

Effects that move to your rhythm. With any shape you can imagine.

An LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) is at the heart of every modulation effect — it’s what gives tremolos, phasers, panners and sweeping filters their characteristic motion.

Our included library of LFO shapes goes far beyond standard modulation effects, giving you curves based on vintage modulation effects, amps and instruments as well as more abstract shapes. You can also draw and sculpt your own totally customized shapes using our Shape Editor. Use it to dream up new LFO shapes, from knife-edged waves to gently ebbing curves.

Our Rhythm Editor is like a rhythmic modulation sequencer. Choose a length (in bars) and the size of the steps you want to edit (sixteenth notes, eighth notes, quarter notes, etc), then start clicking to make a new pattern. You can turn individual steps on and off to create pauses or rests, and adjust the level and length of each step to humanize your pattern and give it some musical variation. You can even choose the number of beats per bar to create some funky syncopation or odd-time-signature grooves. Like our custom shapes, custom patterns are even swappable between plug-ins. And, of course, you can lock everything to the master tempo of the Soundtoys Effect Rack or your favorite DAW for solid, dead-simple synchronization.

XY - Transfer - Rob Papen

Very detailed sound manipulation wth a plethora of Fx. Can be a little overwhelming to start with.

Picture a -Filter Bank- with 36 different Filter types and an XY panel which can also be recorded and played back in several different ways. Yes...that is already very cool, however, picture in your mind that you can also use it in combination with 2 other FX, which also have their own XY pad and this is all then polished off with a flexible Stereo Delay!

Imagine using the Lo-Fi effect combined with a Comb Filter and an analog modeled filter, and this all with each its own XY pad and this all topped off by the Stereo Delay. :o

Indeed, thinking out of the box, this is what the - Rob Papen - brand loves to do and of course, this is the case with XY-Transfer And If you are familiar with the instruments, you know the XY panel for sure. It is a very creative tool for adding dynamic changes to a sound.

Well, now you can use our exciting XY panel in combination with a cool range of effects!
The cool thing about XY-Transfer is that each ‘BLOCK’ which holds one of the FX, also has its own XY field. So very complex effect types are possible which can lead to some unheard and creative effects!

The available Block effects are: - Filter Bank - | - Comb Filter - | - Shaper - | - Room - and - Gater -.
These effects can be combined in these blocks and the - Stereo Delay- can also be placed in different combinations within these 3 blocks.

So, if you are looking for a - Filter Bank ‘ and beyond... XY-Transfer will transfer your audio into something creatively new and unheard.
